Yevgeniy is a lawyer with over 12 years of experience in top international law and advisory firms (White&Case, EY, Dentons) advising international corporations and banks on a variety of Kazakhstan legislation queries. Yevgeniy mainly focuses on corporate and finance sectors.

Yevgeniy provided counsel on capital markets projects representing issuers and lead managers on numerous placements at the foreign stock exchanges (these include sovereign bonds issue by Kazakhstan and national industrial groups, services and goods corporations). Yevgeniy's experience with the banks also includes providing advice on foreign loans and Islamic finance products. Yevgeniy represented JVs on a project finance construction of one of the largest cross-border gas pipelines and on a construction of a major petrochemical plant in Kazakhstan.

 

Yevgeniy’s pool of corporate clients include international banks and local investment funds, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals companies. He advised on structuring and execution of mergers and acquisitions and provided support in establishing international companies’ presence in Kazakhstan. On top of that Yevgeniy provided extensive support to subsoil use companies - from mergers and acquisitions (over 80 due diligence and structurings) to licensing and regulatory approvals and reporting. 

 

Yevgeniy also has provided support to his clients on public procurement queries (Kazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund and its affiliates). On top of that Yevgeniy has been involved into structuring and development of various ICO documents (white paper, etc.) and legislation. Yevgeniy is an arbitrator of Kazakhstan International Arbitration.
